Matthew Currie Holmes is a multi-award-winning actor, screenwriter, and director. He has appeared in over 40 films/television series and has worked with some of the most talented and respected actors in the industry; both in front of and behind the camera.
As an actor, Matthew has worked alongside Harrison Ford, Henry Rollins & Beau Bridges. As a filmmaker Matthew has directed screen legend Danny Glover, Evan Ross, Colm Feore in his supernatural thriller Buckout Road as well as Tony Award Nominee Pablo Schreiber, Sosie Bacon and Rock & Roll Legend Rick Springfield in the music-based drama Traces; a film he not only wrote but composed the title track to as well.
Matthew is a proud member in good standing with SAG/AFTRA, WGC, DGC and ACTRA. He brings an impressive 20 years of knowledge of the film industry and craft to Wednesday Night Scene Study and his 2-Day Audition Workshops.
As a film director and screenwriter, I understand the finality of the work. As an actor, I embrace the limitless exploration of the craft. I take a pragmatic and nurturing approach to scene study.
